We’re y’all located 🤷♂️👀
North Carolina, Adcocks Nursery is located in Fuquay-Varina
Thank you very much. So professional and well explained.
No problem, glad u liked the info!
Why do some spartan junipers seem so wide and others much narrower ? I’d love to get the narrower ones
I am not sure- I too have experienced this change in lower width over the years as we continue to plant Spartans, today they seem a bit wider in the mid-range than in past
Is this fairly fast growing?
The Gulftide is considered a medium growth rate- average annual growth of 8-10 inches
So inspiring and your attention to detail and pace is perfectly executed. Now my husband and I will use your technique and save lots of money! Thank you!
Excellent I hope it turns out amazing for you guys- we absolutely love ours! Thanks for watching
Any recommendations for cheaper basin alternatives, please? 400 bucks for a chunk of plastic is hard to swallow... Thanks!
I wish I did for the large 36"! Try to find one used marketplace, CL etc
@@OutdoorInspirations Just bought a lightly used 36x36 Nelson Water Gardens on CL!! 40 dollars, and it came with the pump (!!! <3 ) Thanks a lot!! Your video has already been of huge value for my next fountain project
@@unamor Holy Schnikes that is awesome!
I live in an extreme fire danger area, and anyone also living in such an area should be very careful of what they plant. Juniper's are infamously called "gasoline bush" by firefighters. I believe the magnolia is a better choice for fire danger areas. I'm not sure about the holly.
Yes Junipers and conifers contain a higher amount of resin (sap) which burns quickly, praying for California
Which one of these shade trees will do well in Californian heat?
Depends on which plant zone you live, but most of these in my list are good for zones up to 8 and 9
It sounds like you had a terrible time with gas mowers, or you just haven't been lucky in getting a good gas mower. May I ask, which gas mower were you using that gave you all of those problems?
It's a Craftsman gas mower- not self propelled like the EGO 🥴
Do deer eat them ?
Yes deer can eat the leaves and twigs if hungry enough 🦌
I'm into old cool mowers. Simplistic but innovative.
There are some sweet customs out there!
Can I just replace the light bulbs ?
@@sharynlynmorgenstern9594 if you have that type, there are certain fixture models which do use replaceable led lamps which make for easy replacement. Other models make a replaceable light bar that snaps in. But other models like in this video do not have any replaceable components hence needing to replace the entire fixture. Hope that helps
@@OutdoorInspirations yes it does. We bought a house with these, all burnt out, & I wasn’t even going to try to do anything with them but now I’ll at least do some work to see if they are replaceable Thanks !
David Spade?
This project is actually easier than I thought (the only hassle is digging the soil for the reservoir). Beautiful blue right there, btw 🙌
Yes digging a large enough hole can be tedious in hardpan soil. I am going to lower my reservoir down to grade so I can install some rubber liner around the base in order to capture more runoff from fountain- yet another project 😁
Just keep coming back here tonight after bastards and their onslaught of fireworks for hours on end! I make no apologies for calling them that as it's unnatural to want to disturb the peace in such a way that isn't an actual war! When you suffer from PTSD, that God Awful continuous attack of unwarranted noise & ground shaking disruptions puts you in a stressful "fight or flight" mode! I tried to meditate to this little sweetheart & similar videos, but it wasn't enough to take me out of the nightmare 😢 🚫🧨‼️
God you sweet, sweet little baby! This is more entertainment than watching TV or the millions of scripted, vapid RUclips videos out there! TY 🙏 for this precious reminder of why we must fight to preserve nature!
Thx - we love watching our birds!
It would be great if you showed some examples of light effects.
Thanks I will try to create a video for that soon !
Nice thanks
Are these trees bad for the foundation of your house or the plumbing?
Absolutely, do not plant close to structures. Lots of top rooting which could cause damage. There are better shade trees to plant closer to homes such as Oaks, which its roots dive down and do not top root.
How do these hold up with wind
From our experience, these trees provide deep rooting for a strong stance for normal wind gusts. Stake any new tree during it's 1st growing season- check out our tree staking video ruclips.net/video/FooA5gX_ezQ/видео.html
Did you drill through the stud ties?
Yes either use a hanging kit amzn.to/3zgkSxi or choose to use a large eye lag bolt and screw into the deck joists
That one is my favorite because it sounds more quiet

Great job Kev! Love how you can select your fav pottery into your own custom water feature!
Dang wish he backed up to show it’s size . No clue If among a few different ones . A view from farther would of made for a better video
Watch step by step how I built this water feature fountain ruclips.net/video/ptNt4vpV7fA/видео.html
Check out my new Fountain Upgrades video (no sound effects) 😁 New plantings and more lighting! ruclips.net/video/s2iwKA-6CrA/видео.html
Look like something off from berrus world on dbz
Right on, I could definitely see these in Dragon Ball Z!
Where do you get the table top? Can't find that Holland outdoor.
These tops are excellent and are holding up to the weather nicely 😎 amzn.to/3TyUBCt This and other build materials are in the description below available on Amazon
Thank you very much for this beautiful video and sharing the information on this tree! Love the location you chose, it is very peaceful. I learned a lot! Best of luck in all your work!
Thanks for watching and commenting! 😎
Great video on the upgrades, but 2 things: 1. PLEASE take out the sound effects! 2. Show the fountain at night with the new inner light
Will record an update soon to show the light inside thx for the feedback

How much is a design like this?
We charge depending on the size and scope of the design needed, typically something like this home would be $750 done virtually and emailed pictures, with an initial phone conversation. boltoutdoorlighting.com/pricing/
I live in phoenix. It’s hot. Any water feature without a continuous water supply evaporates very quickly so how would I go about putting a Phil valve and running a waterline to something like that?
Get a autofill to connect to your water spigot like this amzn.to/4em7YxY
Enhulk is a great product for the price. this is equivalent to a ego and kress 50v (+/-) blower. thanks for your video
Yes it's a deal for the high output!
hello mr. where your safety glasses.
Fantastic job! What kind of accent lights did you use? Powered or solar? Great tips! I guess you have to drain the pot for the winter but what about the reservoir? Being underground I think it’d be safe?
I use powered lights rated for underwater use 12v Light Fixture amzn.to/3IJ5ACE LED Lamp for Fixture 3k 7W MR16 amzn.to/4arjpCr Drain the pottery especially if in cold Winter climates- otherwise removing the pump is fine for me here in NC
@@OutdoorInspirations Thanks! I saw the links after I posted, but appreciate you linking again.
Great video just found you. Do you ever give advice on current lighting from an image? I just paid someone to do my landscape lighting and it’s not as bright as I hoped. I feel like it was your what not to do. 😂 I can send an image of it. I also want some of your gutter lights to light my top of the house. I couldn’t find the ones you recommended. Any advice on that too. Thanks!
Sure send me some pictures and details of what model fixtures or wattages they used- email us info at boltoutdoorlighting dot com
It is also found in Assam,India
This wouldn’t be good for use in regions that get cold winters? The frozen water would bust the upper part of the fountain right?
Not with this pottery shape- the top of the fountain is wide and open so there is no resistance when it freezes up, but some people will drain out the water and cover over winter as well
What's the brand on the shovel? I'm not seeing much similar online.
These wire trencher are custom made and awesome running wire manually- send us a message for the details getinspiredoutdoors (at) gmail
I would love to do this but barrels are so expensive here. Will have to try and look out for one. Love the video.
I found mine at Lowes on sale, I imagine a flea/antique market would be a good place to find one cheaper than new
Thankyou @@OutdoorInspirations
The loop trick is a great idea. Thanks.
Saves a little time - happy to help!
Are the birds attracted to the red berries of the Nandina Domestica Shrubs? Also, since they are in the Bamboo Family, are they prone to spread?
Yes birds eat these, luckily they only eat small portions so there is not a problem with the berry toxicity and yes domestica nandina will multiply and self-propagate
Wouldn't you want to more it low when in drought? I guess mow your lawn low especially on non irrigated lawns. The bigger the plant the more water it needs, mowing it more encourages root lateral growth, growth has to go somewhere. I just moved to NC and wondering why people have their yard at 4".
Not with cool season tall Fescue the longer blades stores more water, fescue prefers being at 3.5"-4.5" over hot Summer days and Spring and Fall you can get away with 3". Tallness creates shade for a cooler soil line. Your warm season grasses like bermuda certainly like it short, for lateral growth. More and more people here in NC are switching over from fescue to bermuda and zoysia due to better heat tolerance and less watering
Great video!
Glad u liked it Matthew!
It's a beautiful tree that would also look so pretty in the winter. 😍🧡
Indeed- those red branches really make a pop!
How far apart were these placed? Thanks!
These are about 11 feet apart, which is closer than a more typical 15-20' spread for them
@@OutdoorInspirationsI did 5 feet😮
@@joeystrunk4413 Yikes oh well atleast they will fill in quickly
U make good videos
@@joeystrunk4413 thx brotato!
From Aldi? You don’t say
Yeah of all places- they had them in the seasonal section- you can find these on amazon
why would you use the expansion joint to run your wire? I thought you would use those long drill bits to go under driveways & sidewalks?
Long bits and sidewalk sleevers are fine options as well- we just had issues of hitting the underside bulges of concrete making it time consuming to find the other side. You can angle grind and zip across an expansion joint in no time
